Nora has straight hair

A couple of weeks ago before church Nora kept asking me if I had straight hair or curly hair. I told her that I had curly hair like Nora, but that a lot of times I made it straight like Ella's. That was it...she wanted her's straight like Ella's. So, we started the process of blowing her hair with the blow dryer and round brush. She liked it...for about 2 minutes. Then she kept asking me if I was done. Since I only had half her hair done, the next few minutes were not pleasant. We finally got her hair all nice and straight and only used the flat iron on the most stubborn parts.

It was so crazy for me to see her with straight hair!! The kids were all enamored. She loved it and kept saying, "now I have straight hair like Ella." It was fun for the day, but swimming the next morning finished that adventure. Funny thing is that I think she thought it meant her hair would be permanently straight. She kept telling people that she now had straight hair. It took a few days for her to realize that we would have to do the whole process over again if she wanted it straight again. We haven't done it again!!! I know how she feels!

What fun that she (and you) can have both if you put forth the effort. She looks darling both ways and so do you! My hair is always straight...but I guess I can curl it as well. Hair! Sometimes I wish we could choose a style and it would stay for a few months without the work!

Cute pictures! I love her hair curly and straight.

I have curly hair, too, and am always wondering what works for other people. What kind of product do you use? I've tried just about everything, but it still lots of work to straighten it. Especially when you live in a humid climate like I do!

She is so cute with both curly and straight hair. Just like you.

I got blisters on my finger today from flat ironing my kid's hair. I was only touching her hot hair too. That chi iron is so stinkin hot.

Isn't it so funny how much their looks change when they go from curly to straight?! The first time I straightened Allie's hair, Quinn came home and wondered who that girl playing in the driveway was! It is a pain though, for both parties!
