Here is a picture of the tree in front of my parents house here in Arizona the week before Christmas. I love how you have the gorgeous changing leaves, the bright green grass, and Christmas lights all in the same picture. I love Arizona!!

I LOVE Fall and one of the hardest things about moving to Arizona for me was that Fall is HOT. I hated how hot it still was in October, and then, not having changing leaves at that time either was hard. I have learned to find the silver lining. We DO get fall...it just happens to be all winter long. I'LL TAKE IT! I have thoroughly enjoyed this winter so much. It completely makes up for July and August in my book.

Jack gets to play flag football in January and February here. The grass is brown, but it's perfect weather for that kind of sport.

They are the Jets. We'll take it because we are Brett Farvre fans.

Paul took the boys to this really cool little league baseball field last night to run around and practice in the batting cages. It was a gorgeous day.

Notice the t-shirt...GO CARDINALS!!!

Here's Jack ready for the fastball. Doesn't he just look like a pro?

Here's the picture to top it all off. Where else can you have a lemonade stand in January...and make money? The boys made about $5 and were in heaven in their little chairs waving to the cars. Days like this just make me happy. Do you want to come visit yet?!

That makes me jealous. As we are sitting here in Utah with temps peaking at 30. The last few days have actually been warmer though. This is the time of year I miss living in Vegas. It was nice to be able to play outside. It looks fun.
THanks for showing me the silver lining of the HOT fall months. Great pictures and your yard looks beautiful. Mine does not look so beautiful ;-)
ps--are you planning on signing Max up for Gilbert Rec T-ball? I think today or tomorrow is the last day to sign up online. The season is April through beginning of May.
Kara...my long lost blogging buddy. It's been so long since I've commented here. Life gets so crazy huh? Love your cute charms and glad to come visit your cute lil' fam. You still amaze me....good luck with the piles of laundry...that seems all too familiar over here! Enjoy the warmth...I'm freezing here and wish we could become snowbirds!!!
I'm jealous of course. We haven't been above freezing for 26 days. I am just wishing for 33 degrees. But when summer comes and it is 70 and pleasant, (we don't get above 100 degrees), you can come visit us.
That does it.....I'm moving! I've had it with these Idaho winters. Snow, cold, ice! I'm too old for this stuff. I really understand why our older-aged residents head to Arizona for the winter. Our cows leave home on Monday so I'm ready to house shop!
A lemonade stand in January sounds heavenly. Warm weather makes me happy.
I do love it here...sometimes I wish it was too cold for lemonade stands though...
