“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
“Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.”
“I submit to you that if a man hasn't discovered something he will die for, he isn't fit to live.”
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."
"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."

LOVE this, Kara! Thank you for sharing.
Watched his "I have a dream" speech as a family yesterday. I think my ugly cry was a little distracting to the children. Will try again next year.
I read this back on the day you posted it. I don't know why I didn't comment then. I suppose I was on the run like I am most days. But I wanted to stop now and say thanks. I love reading your thoughts and ideas. They inspire me. You inspire me. So, thanks Kara.

p.s.
Blog more.
I love the quotes!!! They are very inspiring. I'm a devoted believer of love, and I believe that love is needed in order for us to survive. Thanks for sharing.:-)
